Which car that you owned before getting a Cougar was your favorite?
This was mine.

Favourite car that I've actually owned was probably my Mk1 Laguna. Big, fast (an indicated 140MPH on the autobahn), supremely comfortable, utterly dependable and very cheap (£1400 and I sold it three years later for £600), I just couldn't fault it. I've always hankered after a BMW of some kind though, probably a last of the line E39 530d with all the toys would be my ideal.

1977 Jaguar XJ12 coupe, Mk 1 RS2000 and Mk 2 RS2000, this was in the days before digital imaging or interwebthingy for that matter. Wish I`d still got them all now :sad:

probably going to get slated:dita:, know some peoples thoughts on them :nono:, but my favourite was my 24V Probe:prrr::prrr::D:D:D

Probe, great car, underrated and misunderstood (like the Cougar) but their distributer issues make it a poor choice for a family vehicle

Puma, great fun, felt cheaply made but would be nice to have another one as a second car for short journeys

The cougar is by far the best car ive had yet, no plans to get rid of it till the very bitter end :D

If the numbers came up, I've always fancied a black Mk3 with a Cosworth YB and all the suspension & brakes etc done to suit. It'd cost daft money to do properly but I reckon the grin factor would be immense!

Before ending up like this (prior to me part-exchanging it for my 3rd car)

Loved that car, but so did the local "tea Leaves" robbed all my stereo, but never the car...:(
It had uprated lowered springs & dampers, a full Peco big bore exhaust, Pipercross airfilter, tinted windows, front spliter, Yokohama rubber, 15 speaker sound system (4 Amps, 4 subs, DSP, CD-changer, Tv, VCR) it could do 120 mph and I liked to scare BMW drivers on the M40 in it

MG Maestro (pre restricted version)- used to eat wheelbearing but acceleration was awesome - no roadholding though a car that really had to be driven

Depends what mood I'm in - not had that many but my two favorites were:

a/. BMW 528iSE - 5 speed steptronic auto - uprated TEN speaker (integrated) blaupunkt stereo - leather EVERYTHING - dark metallic blue - lovely (but never even looked under the bonnet!!) :p

b/. Triumph TR6 2.5l - 15mpg - (spent more time under her than driving her) :ihih:

Never been more into a car than I am into my Cat at the mo tho (y)

I have had so many motors over the years so I cant remember all of them, but I did like my last car which was a mint condition smart roadster, the only problem with them is the build quality is ****, and the engine is too highly tuned so its only good for 50000 before it needs a rebuild. not like the the good old cougar.
