yeah i ended it wen solution was fixed mate
no way i cud let her go for 1250 wen she'd be workin fully in matter of days
now jus dreaded mot n tax to sort

Ok so a quick update:

Yesterday she went in for
1.front brake upgrade to 300mm All new parts except sprayed calipers refurbed
2.rear discs n pads
3.longer wheel studs alround

had a call as garage is where a mate of mine works, sayin good n bad news
all went well fronts were a bit of a pain to go on but all on
BUT on checkin one of the rear calipers wouldnt lock when handbrake on and kept sticking etc

so i called round a few breakers n managed to pick up a pair for £40 jus before shutting at 530pm

so i dropped them off this mornin to be done, once thats on then the retest will be passed n a 12 month ticket is ready n shes road legel again finally

well its been a long but worth while day today
received all parts to sort out the air filter n get the car idling and runing a lil better on fuel with the sensor being secure

I drilled the IAT sensor into the CF tube and mounted the MAF tube onto the other end and silicone sealed them
then followin info n pics provided by Add i ran the cold feed through the standard air feed route and down the wheel arch to the vent whole on the left side off the no limits front bumper

i then fitted the new circuit breaker amp fuse so i can actually listen to music lol
sorry the pics are crap but was dark when finishing up lol

and one of the blue front mk3 calipers n 300mm discs

and the drive afterwards was amazig
no more stalling on idle or jumping between gears
runs like an absolute dream

is a little faster wen cold but that is expected wiv the lack of space in engine bay to cool
so next thing to look into is bonnet scoop to cool the engine more

Looking sweet gav we will have to catch up soon and get our kitty's side by side

Yeh deffo Dave and thanx for the info the other day by tex, will be gettin some new leads soon so i can change the coilpack positioning.

Thanx Al for all the bits u've done for me recently, been abit busy so only managed to put on the stickers for the brakes lol
heres a pic
n before the comments come in wheel refurb is on the saving up for list lol

A lot of changes in one go tbh, did take a while with a few hiccups but well worth it now
the battery terminal took some filing to actually fit the battery as was too tight (great start)

Also fitted the strut brace again after wrapping it in CF vinyl wrap
seems to force the bonnet up at bak slightly and is about 2mm away from UIM which probably isnt good with the engine movement?

centre console, hvac surround, headlight surround and door runners changed to CF wrapped ones. overhead console changed to CF one (went from 5 to 7 does thata matter?)
HVAC and headlight switch changed to black with blue LEDs and a slight indivual thing of No Limits on one side and ST220 on the other, forgot to take a closer pic.
Chrome rings also added to around the HVAC and headlight switch.

changed 2 out of the 4 rings on speedo dials, other 2 werent fitted n ended up liking the look of the speedo n fuel guage standing out from other 2 anyway.

old dash parts were C2 black ones but had no interest in them
also all of the screw bits snapped on back of HVAC so not much good to anyone tbh
If u want them then lemme no asap as they'll be goin out to bin men tomoz morning.

Thanks Al, Si and Daz for the parts, great quality as usual! (y)
Daz i shall be in touch soon to get the vent bits done in CF to match all the rest mate.

Only 1 problem after all the changes is that the voltmeter now doesnt work so i think ive wired the cigarette lighter up wrong as earth is from that for it n wires are seperate on mine not plastic clipped together so hard to tell.
anyone know the colour order from centre outwards?

oh and i found this in the car behind dash, never been plugged into anything, possibly pass airbag? as mine doesnt have one or maybe from where the car was installed with PS2 n screens etc? any ideas?
