Bought my T Reg Burple Cougar 3 weeks ago and love it. Have been a long time admirer but only just got round to getting hold of one. Only problem so far is an overly sensitive alarm. Whilst I love my Cougar I am not sure my neighbours do as it goes off without hesitation in the early hours of the morning!!

Check the switch under the bonnet for the alarm, the rubber boot falls apart and becomes sensitive, also i had the same problem and found the rubber stops for the bonnet where too high thus not pushing the switch down far enough..
