Ask Mark (or was it Everton!) about the 4x4 Mondeo with Focus Rs Mk1 engine nice mate, or a supercharger, the Zetec is good for a few things
Si, well sounds like common sense has finally prevailed!! lol Welcome to the Black Cat Brigade. Now one word of warning....You will spend a shed load of time washing and polishing your Ebony princess, as although Black Cougs look great when they are polished and sparkling, they are a pig to keep clean!!!! So ensure you have plenty of cleaning products!! lol Will look forward to seeing it at some of the meets this year.
Seems like Si will be the owner of two very special cats before long. It's a pity he won't be able to bring both to meets .
Oh dunno about that Al, his son in his wedding pic's looks just about old enough to drive!!....I mean they get younger and younger every day...infact I bet Si has even knicked one or two around the similar age to his son! lol

I think the fourby is going to be more the day to day car once we get it, with cat3 being used less often and being the show car.

ickle update.
Spoken to the Don and 'we' have opted to put a new clutch in cat4, more a precaution than necessary...made sense with the engine out.
Anyway, the engine is now in (so I assume the new clutch is) and 'we' are aiming for cat4 to be in Scunny very very soon

Makes perfect sense to replace the clutch, exception being if it was a very recent low miler one already in there

Well, had the don on the blower this aftie and fourby is just about finished.
Just the back box has to go on and she will be going for her MOT this afternoon all being well.
It may well be midweek next week before I get chance to collect her, but the scunnycougar household will soon be back up to full strength.
Credit where credit is due as well, the mafia have not done things by half.
Of course its a 16v, but it is a fourby conversion and has top of the range v6 brakes. Add to that a 4-2-1 SS manifold, 17" alloys and a few other little touches, its another master piece coming out of HQ.
