I'm coming back!!!!!!!

Sorry I've been away for a while but its been a very hectic time at work and home.

So it has been a fun filled several months since I got the car back from Bolton and had to ship it down to a specialist near here as I was told it needed to be mapped. This was very dissapointing and frustrating especially as I was charged a lot of money and it took just over 2 years to apparently complete the work!!!!!!

So the specialist has found a huge list of problems whilst trying to sort out the mapping a brief highlight are:

manifold y pipe in contact with the engine and electrics which initially fell off just before Alans funeral as it was held on with a couple of bolts so I couldnt bring the car to the funeral and he tried to protect the electrics by cable tying a chopped up bit of heat shield to the y pipe

a knackered water pump

a knackered belt

a fuel system that had been bodged and was leaking fuel and delivering virtually no fuel pressure which was causing the car to run like a bag of crap not the mapping as told to me and that person also told me it was down to me to get the mapping sorted out as they couldnt or didn't want to do it.

The car is hopefully being put on a rolling road next week and fingers crossed it should be around the 260 mark. Hopefully I should have it back by the end of September at the latest so I can start doing a load of the projects that have been sitting on my bench.

I'll also need to crawl over the car when it gets back to see if there are any other issues that need to be addressed as well but i'll get a chance to use the new shiny ramps.
