My New Spray Job / My Cougar.

so peter why were you worried about likes /dislikes its a thumbs up (y)(y)(y)(y)(y)mate from the guy who matters you and the forum say yes to not bad so are you the tango man :LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:
Cheers. You always need to take on what other people think from time to time. No harm in good advice in life. It was just that it is such a radical move for the car and miles away from what I did have planned for it. But all in I think not a bad job.

 Orange is a good colour. Only beaten by Yellow :D
I have had 2 Yellow cars in the past.
Renault 19 16V Chamade
Renault Megane Convertible 2litre 16V Williams engine model.

I loved the Megane, it was a very cool car and fast. And I do miss it. I did think about Yellow but it would not have worked with the Silver.

I like it .. three very different colours but it works you should be proud.
If you get fed up i'll glady swap my blurple

I don't think I will ever get fed up of looking at it. Like Alan said, it has so much going on with all the lines on it. But if I ever do get fed up I will look you up lol !!!
Cheers.

nice job peter only thing i will say is you need to do something to the black paint to bring it to life as in visteon scoop and roofline spoiler this in my opinion but would give the top half a better look to compliment the rest of the good work thats been done

I was thinking about the Visteon scoop but all these things can wait for now. I am struggling to sort out wheels right now and they are the most importaint thing to me right now.
Cheers for the comments.

I think that getting the wheels changed will improve the look a lot, also, as was mentioned, tinting the rear lights. Lowering is a good move which gives the car a more agressive stance.
As for the colour scheme, it certainly stands out from the crowd. It isn't something that I'd do to a car but the same goes for my car, it's not everybodys taste but I like it, you obviously had a vision of what you'd like to do and have done it. It'll be interesting to see it 'in the flesh', maybe at a meet or show. A photograph can never really do the cars justice.

only been honest as you would like honest opinions also money does dictate what you can do,as iam using my mobile i only seen the bottom half of car till it uploaded the bottom half does look great main thing is as long as you happy with the end result.

not to my tastes but as long as you are happy with it thats all that matters :)

Well done mate (y)Very striking colour scheme. I can see why it's a head turner. Love the orange. Should look even better with a good set of 18's on. Any plans for a dual exit stainlest exhaust in the future ?

Looks great mate, obviously will look better with the wheels and perhaps a bigger rear spoiler (like Rich B's ;)) and that scoop they are talking about.
It really has caught the look of that Celica it was based on

Cheers guys, I am going to sort out the exhausts soon as well. As for the Visteon, I am still unsure about it. I think I would like it bonded and filled and smoothed into the bonnet if I had one. But that would cost a bit to do and there is the heat issue with it all. I might leave it as it is for now. I like the look of it.

That looks great mate.

I dont think I could ever do something like that myself but its nice to see
someone else pushing boundaries.

Hope you are happy with the result as said above will be set off with 18's.

I must confess that its not my cup of team mate - but i can appreciate the quality of the work and the most important thing is that you are happy wiht what you've created - at the end of the day thats what matters.
nice one (y)(y)

Cheers mate, I can see that not all will like it. Glad to see that at least people can see the work that has gone into it.

Very good finish on this mate Oh what i would give to be able to polish fresh unblemished stone chip free paintwork. Good on you mate(y).
