Well it's in my possession for two days so technically it's mine ;) collected it today from mafia after it has had the ECU fitted so it's now a proper ST220 cougar, having driven it before with the old ecu and now with the proper one it's a very different car to drive much smoother and a lot more tractable in higher gears and lower revs, power delivery is a lot more linear than a st200 or a standard engines cougar.

Dave told to "give it some s**t" when I collected it so I drove it as quick as I would a car that isn't mine over a 2 mile stretch of twisty road I know well on the way back from Bolton and it's bloody fast you hit the rev limiter before you realise it's coming up it picks up so quickly and smoothly and looking down at the speedo can be very surprising to the point that on a fairly twisty road you're almost seeing three figures without even being aware of it after a 3-4 second flat to the floor throttle action. I promise I'll look after it Dave and I'll have fun over Moffam moors on Sunday in it for you :) ;)

Nice one JJ; I'm sure you'll look after it and treat in the manner to which it has become accustomed.:)
All credit to the Bolton Mafia yet again.

Mmm. Niiice. (y)

When my EuroMillions numbers come in tonight - and they will, this time for sure! - I'm gonna have get of those built for me.

I one the otherhand will be joining with JJ on the trip I promise if i get the chance I will abuse it .

Had a little bit of a play and loving the extra horses.

I'll have to break out the grinder this week and remove a bit of bodywork which sometimes catches on the passenger exhaust hanger

It was nice to drive home and not be worrying about pebbles and potholes

It's been a horrible mod but it seems worth it so far I'll try and get some new ht leads and the dyno it once I recover from the cost of the mod and have some spare cash

Lmao it's not that bad mate I think the biggest problem was caused by you trying to go up a ramp that's climbing around 6" with a car that has 1.25" of clearance!! ;)

Good to see you, and the car again today Dave. When you call again, can you bring a paint scraper and some thinners please. There's green paint and fibreglass bits on the road outside :)
