New C2 Frosty

So, after the demise of my Blurple C1 I have cheered myself up with a brand new low-milage Frosty Zetec C2.

Picking it up from Bummingham on Sunday and cannot wait! A few bad bits on the car like a dent on the B pillar and a small one on the front wing but ripe for a few mods!

I think a US grill and different stereo may be on the cards. As always I will keep the forum up to date. What I would love to find is a Focus RS breaking on eBay so I can nab the engine/seats and brakes.

Plans will eventually be a better engine, bigger brakes and lowered. Maybe a 4x4 conversion at some point if I can find the right donor car.

Anyway these are all dreams for the future, I will be happy just to be a Cougar owner again... for now :)

Someone else on here from around Brummy way has a frosty C2 - rumour has it that it is Ginja but no evidence so far :eek:

I heard it was a frosty, didn't think they done a Ginja one :LOL::LOL::LOL:

glad to hear you got a cat, doesn't which model or colour important thing is it's a Cougar (y)(y)
 
Welcome back to the fold Rob. Whereabouts in Bristol are you as we're doing a bit of a tour round there on the 29th April after the Castle Combe meet.
 
I live just out of town on Hotwell Road.

Ahh Ginja I would love to but am not picking the car up till late afternoon! Next time guys...
 
Welcome dude. its great to see the club growing almost everyday with keen enthusiasts such as yourself. Hope your project goes well and hope you will be attending some events?
 
Hey mani, yeah defo will attend some events. The car is a bit boring at the moment but I am thinking it will be a blank canvas with which to start from ;)

Not happy with the lack of electric mirrors or heated front screen, my first mod methinks ;)

Pics to follow in my garage in about 5 mins...

There are many people who want theirs cats to go like Stigg on this forum like for example our very own localloon, stribo fast mint, bobster snow cat, Mofosob who has the power of green hulk, me and many others that i haven't mentioned too.
there was also one person who has the no limits kit with a butt kicking st220 engine, which was said to produce 240bhp if im not mistaken?

Electric mirrors as in adjustable? or heated? im guessing heated because you mentioned the windscreen, which the xpac would most defiantly have had. Im sure you have them unless someone could shed some light?
 
Dont worry I was being an idiot about the mirrors, didnt realise all cougars were electric adjustable.

I have seen the pics of the ST220 engine, very sweet! st220 donor cars are not cheap, i will keep checking ebay and see what I can find.

I think if I could do anything it would be a 4l Mustang v6 engine and 4x4 running gear, that would be amazing! I am guessing not easy or cheap or it would have been done before ;)
 
Car collected, not bad at all! Love the C2 looks but the engine is positively asthmatic! A few odd creaks and groans from the suspension and brakes too.

Stereo to be fitted this weekend, clear indicators and US grill to be ordered next ;)
