Yea the Bonnet Vent Was first Made from wood, and then Cast with a fibreglass shell.
which was the Mold for the finished "COWL AIR INDUTION".
under the bonnet there was a slim air box which force fed the Cold air from the Cowl strait into the K&N Air Induction.

Cold air forced into the K&N gave that bit more OOMMPPHH !
Although I soon Learned to run High Grade Hotter spark plugs.
Because the Engine ran hotter it would burn the plugs out faster !
NGK Platinum but higher Grade and then reduce the space on the Firing pin to the normal size. worked a treat !

Barry, top work mate. I prefer the build pics to the finished article ones because I'm hands on too and appreciate creativity. That bumper was stunning, period!

You're next one I'm certain, will be a much improved and even nicer job! Must have a meet or something, not that far away :)
