New Owner in Wiltshire saying hello

B

bjw970s

Hi,

After driving one of the press pre-launch ones when they came out, we have always fancied a Cougar so, when we were looking for a run-around, it was either a focus or something more interesting and....we now have a 2.0 Silver 2000 reg Cougar.

It is pretty good nick, with very good history although it does need the drivers seat bolster fixed. It is a good to drive as I remember even in 2.0 form.

Things to do:

Fix seat or get Leather interior (any one know of any good interiors going?)

Fit cruise control (noticed via this forum that it's feasible) so after advice and a kit.

Apart from that just enjoying driving it.

welcome mate get some pics up

AS for interior check the swap or for sale section someone is giving away the interior

i wanted it to and is further away from me something like 250miles lol.

tbh 120mile isn't bad especially for interior in the condition and free

Welcome to the forum bjw970s! Great to have another owner nearby.(y)(y)

We have a couple of meets coming up which you might like to come along to and meet some other cat owners. We are a friendly bunch who are always happy to pass on various hints and tips about cat ownership.

Have a look at these :

You would be made very welcome at both or either of these events at Castle Combe and Bath.

Whereabouts are you in Wiltshire?:smile5::smile5::smile5:

Thanks for the welcome - Like the general theme on here I think this car is a future classic if not one already! I have to restrain myself however and keep the mods to keeping it looking good as I have a couple of other toys.

I might be busy that weekend - waiting for confirmation - but if not I will look at bringing my 205 Mi16 Rally shed along and will be happy to take folks out in it. I need get some more time in it anyway!

I am just outside Box

Hi and welcome to the club (madhouse) great bunch on here and a few laughs to be had along the way, loads of info no manuals made for cougar but all the info is either in subscriber section (£13) or the members are both knowledgeable and helpful,as well as a little mad:LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:

I hope you can make either or preferably both of the events! Great to have another cat owner so near to Bath - they are usually miles and miles away!! :smile5::smile5::smile5::smile5:

I have seen a couple around - I was surprised to see one in Chippenham opposite HALFRAUDS on Sun so I had to park next to it:smile5:

So to the silver V6, thanks for the forum leaflet! (nice to get one from an enthusiast even though I have joined already - shows it's a friendly club).
