Puma 2 Cougar

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.......ok...

I think in my current situation, a v6 may be over kill.... so maybe starting off with a 20L would be ideal...... so long as the 2.0L is a fantastic car am all in...

Im going to chuck my 2 pence worth in here.

The missus has had two Puma's, a 1.4 and now a 1.7 Millenium. Both great cars but the rust kills the poor little things.

I recently picked up my Cougar from eBay, 2.5 V6, Cloth Interior, 64k on the clock, Main Dealer history from 2002 until 2010 - all that was needed by me was a window relay and a thermostat. The magic price? £650 - 10 months MOT and 6 Months tax! Just dont buy anything to pricey as bargains can be found very easily. There is a guy around the corner from me struggling to sell a 2.0 Auto. No one wants it. Shame really.

A 2.0 auto would be slower than a week in jail. As there are plenty of V6 autos and manuals in both flavours to be had at bargain basement money, it's unsurprising he's having trouble shifting it.

there's no point in doing it in 2 stages, if you go to a meet sometime, you'll kick yourself when you hear the V6 growl everywhere and you've got the Zetech, you'll have the hassle of looking all over again :(
just bite the bullet mate, it'll be something to get your'e ALUCARD fangs into :devilish:

Andy(ACE)Clarke.

why not get yourself down for a drive to cougarfest, then you can see a load of v6's ,zetecs , some modified, some reasonably standard and choose from there, you will also be able to see various mods and what they look/sound like,
