Me too !
I had a C Reg Black one...Until someone decided to hit me head-on @ about 60mph one wet winters eve !

I then replaced it with a E Reg White one which had Colour Coded Skirts
I lowered it too with new Sports Spings & Shocks alround.

Great little cars, quite relliable & parts werent too dear.

I will have to dig out some photos of them & scan into PC.

I love that XR2, Although I do prefer the XR3i's- it's bigger older cousin =)

You an ex member too then? I would love to have a project car, having ruined three daily drivers in the past :LOL: but costs and debts dont allow me to.

Ideas:
  • Escort Mk4 Cabriolet
  • Orion Ghia I
  • Range Rover (Original) with big SPL system re-named "LOW Range Rover"
  • Cougar Track car
  • Ka Seen one in Fast ford with a 247hp ZVH motor :yikes: but would probably go for sounds not speed.
  • American Muscle car
 
I was never actually a member but I have fond memories of my i ghia I ran her for 6 years and would still have her now if I hadn't lost my job at the time.
I still trawl ebay regulaly and if the right one comes up Its time to reignite the romance. I know it sounds silly but It was the car I owned when I got married ,Its the car i brought my new born daughter home from hospital in. God I'm going to start filling up. ;)

:ihih:you cant hide the fact now mate :LOL: I know what you mean though, mine was my 2nd car, but not only that it was the first time I signed up to an owners club and began properly modifying and got on the show scene, we had some fun in the Orion Register (I've been to every Ford Fair since 1996)
