Scrapyard Cougar

By a strange twist of work related fate I should be able to get to have a look at this breaker on Monday.

Going back over the above; still outstanding are the stereo plugs for tattt, a brake-wear sensor plug for grimisuk and a boot carpet for spacychick.
Anything else?

Pad-wear sensor plug/tails; got.
Sorry but drew a blank with the boot carpet.

Yes, but it was hiding behind a van. I didn't see it the first time I walked up the yard and thought it had gone.
Judging by the bits in the boot it looked as though someone had been trying to solve a problem by trial and error.
Good yard though; I spotted something else on another car which would be of use but didn't have the right tools or really enough time.
 
It's a great place. Sadly not open on Sundays or would be easier for us to get together there.
I do fancy getting that towbar off, but I'd have to check how much they wanted first - they can be a little 'opimistic' with pricing on some items.
 
Apart from Thursday mate, but thats when Paul s coming to weld my sills up.
I should be due a 4-day weekend soon, so maybe we could combine a visit with a MFSM?
 
I think the engine was pretty much intact. Now I'm still struggling with my Cougar I'm not sure when I'll have chance to get back again though:(

It's not that sort of place Rik.
You have to get the stuff off yourself and the fact that they shut at 5 and don't open on Sundays makes it a bit awkward. I only got in there last Monday thanks to a works errand that took me past the gates.
 
Oh i see no probs. Do you know if it's open tomorrow? Is it Worcester way? Not a million miles away from me.. Wouldn't mind grabbing it myself (it'll give me something to do [emoji14])
 
It's in Cheltenham Rik, not far off junction 11 of the M5 and they are open tomorrow.

If you get there the Cougar is on the left in the back part of the yard behind a small van.

There is also a MK2 V6 Mondeo about half way up the first part of the yard, on the left about 2 rows back.
