I must admit it has been an uphill battle to get it this far. I have the pictures on facebook as well and have had nothing but good comments so far. Apart from being told it needs a personal plate on it. I have been banned from buying anything else for the car this year but have seen a nice plate with my birthday and initals on the DVLA site for £250

Am i right in thinking this is the first all white cougar in UK? Definately a showstopper
I hope you got the engine tidied up mate, you don't want to be slotting a grubby block into that beauty.The reg? Lets be seeing it then

The engine bay is a little grubby at the minute as it took them longer than expected to paint other parts.. I settled on the inner wing/slam panel and under bonnet in white and my strut brace is now white. The only thing that's blurple is the turrets but isn't a major one as he made me some paint mixed by him in rattle cans to match. I just have to spend a day stripping all the parts off to get at them. I may be dropping the engine out soon anyway to give it a scrub up at which point he offered to pick it up on a trailer and paint it out for me.

I did see a perfect plate the other day mate (DVLA auctions) COO 64R nice ......although TIP EX springs to mind
