I just thought i would say goodbye and thankyou for the help and knowledge that has helped me when ive needed it.
Its a great forum and both myself and Marita were made to feel very welcome when we were at the ford fest last summer.

I have a few items for sale and will offer these to the forum members before i list these on ebay.

My cougar flew throught the Mot last friday and i sold it for £750 on saturday which i consider fair. I only lost a few pounds and had great fun while i owned it. The reason for the sale was the running costs.
I have decided to stay with fords and cats lol- my new car is a silver Puma with 45000 miles with full history and backed up by VOSA.

We owned one of these years ago and i remember it being fun and i couldnt resist owning one and then the other and the 17's i had on my cougar will fits straight on. The only blemish is a small dent on the front wing but the paint isnt broken. Will get a dent man out for that.

For sale items removed.

So once again thankyou and if i go to the ford fair this year i will pop in and say hello.

Good to meet you last summer mate, good luck with the little cat, sounds like you got a good 'un - no easy feat that!

Good luck with it Justin, Lets hope the weather is kinder to us at FF this year. :)

For sale items reemoved from your post must be advertised according to forum rules in the for sale sections.

Wow how did you find such a good example, I've conciderd a swap for my cougar if I can't sell it for a puma but most are rot box's or green ;) lol (no offense to green cat owners, I just wont have a green car) or very high mileage, although I am looking in the sub £1000 bracket

I just logged onto ebay at the right time :)

Puma owners club is probably one of the better places to look for a nice example of one. Personally I'd love a Racing Puma :D

A racing puma would be tops. The 1st job on the weekend will be to clean and treat the rear arches so they dont rust.

Was just going to suggest that.

All the best of luck with your new baby cat - they're a cracking little motor. Maybe see you at a Ford event again some time. (y)

I paid £900 for it from a dealer. What swung it was the colour epsecially after owning a frosty cougar,it would have been nice to have owned both.

Only TWO i've seen in my area are a BLACK one and a RED one, the SILVER ones are very bad round the rear arches, even my current run-around "Uncle Fester" isn't as bad and its about 5 years older than the PUMA's i've looked at....scares me more that these are on dealers forcourts and they put the pictures on Autotrader

Mine is going to be undersesaled big time in the wheel arches to try and stop the arches from rotting out.I'm quite ocd when i clean my cars and i always clean the wheel arches thoroughly so hopefully mine will be nice for a long time.
