Yeah its finally happened (if you are on Facebook you might already know) the Cougar2 went to its new home yesterday, so if your in West London and you spot X859 PPU let us know.
Sold to a guy who used to have an automatic cat before for £800.00, its a lot of car for not much money, hopefully he will come on here and say hello, names Peter.
I'll still be around though so you don't get rid of me that easily ;)

Always difficult to let go of a car you've become attached to Matt. But it was the right thing to do, glad to hear shes finally sold. I'm off to London today so will keep an eye out for it ;)

Shame you had to sell Matt, but when money is tight and you have to live, then something has to give. So, you are no longer the owner of a C2.......blimey Matt, never knew you had a C2! LOL!!!!!!! I'm sure if things get better financially for you, we will see you in Cougar ownership once more....never say never. :)

TBF I'd been a right C word to a few people on here the past couple of months so I apologise.
Couple people already are aware (Facebook again) that me and Emma have taken residence in Castle Ginja lol, a two bed rented house in Atherstone Warwickshire, so if there is any money to spend its there :D

Right i'm off to pay my water bill and household insurance etc.

Well done Matt, good luck in getting on your feet, and trust me i for one know how hard it is and can be.. see you at castle combe for a beer anyway chap..

You can take the Ginja out of So-lee-ull but you can't take.........

Glad he finalised Matt and that he's been and actually picked it up! ;)

Good luck in the new gaff and I look forward to that compulsory house warming party :)

Ohh yess,,, that sounds good, UKCougar house trashing.. erm i mean warning party...
Just shout when it's going to happen and we will try and make it..

Well done for selling it Matt. For the record I do not think you have been an **** at all. It could not have been easy to take this action given how long and how much you loved the car.
I am sure in the future you will be able to once again own the car that you love.
Good luck !!!

He was a genuine nice bloke, mid 40's west Indian.
Mate dont come yet its a bit of a mess lol

As above, well done Matt. I don't think you've been any sort of **** at all, but it has been frustrating to watch the situation with no clear end in sight.

But you've absolutely done the right thing and have followed the right priority as hard as it may have been. Hopefully it won't be too long before you can get one again.

And don't forget that there's nothing wrong with having a lowly C1 when the time comes.

It's all been said Matt, so nothing really for me to add except, i know a few of us have been in very similar situations to yours, i know i have, so can understand some. You should now be at a stage where you can sit, relax, remenisc a little and maybe even shed a tear, but at least you know you did the right thing. (y)
