19"s altho not on the car as the car is too low for them to fit the rear is resting on the tyre before I even try to move it so back on standards for now seems strange as my car surely cannot be that much lower than other lowered cougs it is only 40mm lower.
Currently trying to find a way of fitting them without raising the rear as I like how it sits I do not want to raise it, it goes against every fibre in my body to make a car higher!.

Got more brakes to refurb than i can shake a stick at, at the mo lol, 300's will look a bit better tho lol, got dyg's, manos' and mine to do soon, maybe all in one day once i finished dyg's refurb grrrrrr bloody things lol and J, i gotta put standard springs on the back first lol bugger!!!
I am gonna buck the trend and say white, although I can see your point about not wanting to copy anyone else's idea
white is clean and refreshing - the orange is, ermmmm..... okay - and without the stripe is better than with the stripe

I like the white too Jason, although if it were mine then I'd have the wing mirror mounts in satin black so that the overall shape of the window & waist line was restored.
Think I'd probably have the tail lights swapped out too, with the replacements tinted in red.
I reckon that would make the car look about as fresh and modern as it could.

....shoot me down in flames, but I think the green sits well, and with the mirror mounts in black as Jamie said. Please excuse my childlike airbrushing on the mounts. It's 8.30am. It's Friday. It's been a long week.

i like it with and without the stripe jason,but if your going down the colour change sensible but different would be gunmetal grey or bold would have to be purple not blurple lol

THAT GREEN IS VILE .. sorry .... having seen the car in the flesh many times I think the plain orange looks good, there not many cars that suit that colour but personally I think the cougar does, as per Jamies suggestion of the mirrors in satin black would look good.

I'm just about settled on changing mine to gunmetal grey so no using that colour Jason, how about candy apple red
Personally, I really like the car as it is.
I'm not a lover of orange myself (though i do quite like the shade on your car, it's not got the tango'd effect lol), but the grey offsets it beautifully IMO & blends it into the lines of the car. Since you've ruled out white, that seems to only leave orange or a respray...............the cheapest option obviously being to go all orange. With the body kit fitted, I think metallic laser tint red, same as my old Probe, or cool metallic ice blue would look cool & classy on a coog........ just a thought.
