Trip to Oxford to view possible FREE cougars

Every cloud etc......., until 15 months ago the calves for our now defunct dairy herd were reared in there.

I don't know the back-story Andy, but it's clearly a sore point. Cows are awesome and hilarious, but... silver lining as you say. Though I look forward to coming down there and giving parts of this car a second life.

There's hundreds of pounds of viable spares on it and, since it was essentially free, it could help our members in a cost-neutral way.

I'll probably be in T's Passat when I get down there because, hey, free fuel - but I should really bring Tiger so she can see what happens when a Cougar starts doing expensive stuff. "Do you see? This is an object lesson."

If the majority are happy with the idea I was going to suggest I reserve the Hall, a la Castle Combe, so we could make a weekend if it.
It probably wouldn't be possible until sometime in October though.

If someone has a set of these they would make quick work of the lockers

Not with the teeth in that direction it wont. Help not criticism.

My set like that work great. those teeth make it bite in going counterclockwise. The harder you turn the tighter they bite. So unless your lugs are reverse thread which I've only seen on Semi trucks and military vehicles, they're coming off with that.

I of course understand that you're terminally busy at this time, but if you're okay to store her for a couple of months, I'm in. Name your date and, even it's a weekday, I've still got 20 days of holiday to take this year.

:edit: And I can do parts storage to some degree.

Another excellent day. As said V6 is rolling free so should easily go up on a trailer. The inhabitants of the village are....interesting....., but they seem happy the garden is being cleared.
We were going to have tea on site, but a bout of 'Blackpool Syndrome' (nobody brought a cup:LOL:) meant we feasted on donuts before retiring to the previously mentioned pub for lunch.
Mick joined us this time, lovely to see you again mate and your car is just stunning.

The length of time it's there shouldn't be an issue but if anyone is desperate for anything off it in the meantime I'd be happy to oblige. (y)

Your right I'm wrong. Blame it on the afternoon in the pub ! Sorry.

They are more into old Landrovers and Austin 7's hence the need for a car trailer. (y)

Just as they were about to leave they were accosted by a 'local' who was most agitated because he thought they were on the point of 'delivering another bloody car'.

That was similar to us... a chap stopped and asked if we was... Maybe the locals are a little annoyed? Not sure why though, its his land?
