Thanks guys, appreciate all the feedback. I've already removed it all. She will be get a lower red pin stripe as Ricky advised. I hate admitting that Rach is right. It seems on this occasion she was right lol!!

Well, I tried with just red, but ended up looking like the Bat Mobile lol!! So have removed it all.
So, decided to not bother with pin stripe. I have now finished the bonnet protector and is now same colour as the car. So here it is finished.

Just got to get the lower grille changed and also take engine cover off and spray that 'candy apple red'. I'll get there....slowly lol!! 
she looks great just how she is mate but i know sometimes u just want to add that bit extra...been catchng up and looking at that first pin stripe was a no for me.. its too light...at least u can put em on straight..mine always look wonky.

get a simular colour to the car.. a lighter grey or simular tone colour for instance or darker..that will add to the edges but be subtle enough to not become a focal point from the car....but this is my opinion

Looks good Tim! A lot of car mods are trial and error, you never quite get a feel for how something will look until it’s on the car.

Thanks Ricky, I'm happy with it. Just the EZ lower rubber skirt to go on, but cannot do that until I change out the cracked/broken lower grille. Hopefully get this done in the coming months.
Ok, can you see how much of the blue shows in different light. This was taken this afternoon, 10 mins up the road. The actual colour is Midnight Sky Blue.
