What Have You Done to Your Cougar Today?

I'll tell you now, the product is absolutely brilliant, but it does need some skill (and a hair dryer) to fit.

But I'm absolutely stoked with the results. Pic above tells the story, but he even matched my old Frosty with no bother.

Thanks for pointing this out, Got one on order (y)

You know I didnt do any mods for nearly 4 years on this car ,but now in the last few months ive been making up for it

If you leave her standard, that's just fine. But if you make her yours? Well that's just great too.

I very much doubt that anyone here has an entirely factory car now though. The only reason to do so would be if you were going for concours. And I'm not even sure that's a thing with Cougars now.

Savage... that's the brand i used on my probe well over ten years ago, i couldn't remember the name of it though, cheers.

Edit: That stuff has gone up over the years! its over £20 a can on ebay now, might try the E-tech stuff for £8 instead....

 WOW! I just looked. It has gone mad that stuff. I would be looking at less expensive than that, as good as the savage stuff is.

Today, after returning home from my mums, and parked DG in the cave, i noticed the RR tyre almost flat :( so off comes the wheel for a quick nail/screw etc inspection. Found nothing. Checked the valve, all seems ok. A full wet test and still nothing, no sign of a puncture o_O, so after rechecking and refilling with some more of that air stuff it went back on the car and is now tucked away till i go and check again in the morning. Very strange indeed.o_O

That is indeed weird. Could it be possible that someone let it down while you were at your mum's? Not suggesting that someone has a grudge, but kids and random neds can be spiteful like that for no reason.

My RR was going down and I thought it was a leaky bead (because of the problems I had with the lacquer) but it turned out that the valve core was very slowly leaking - like 1lb every 2 days... No test caught it.

It does feel more responsive on the throttle now, didnt get a chance to do a full test with the power yet the roads are pretty wet today
