What Have You Done to Your Cougar Today?

I don't know, I came across it the other day whilst looking at Cougar's on Google images.
Going by its mot history, the poor thing was put out of its misery around 2015.
It also used to orange.

Rear doesnt look too happy :devilish:

Just looks like it's sat down under its own weight seeing as the front is up. Mine does the same Ricky. As Andy says, lift the rear by jacking up from the front subframe rear bolt, the rear will come up soon enough then you can stick an axle stand under there.

Looks like the U shaped control arm could be seriously mis-alligned or even bent

Do you mean the arm from the chassis that goes rearward to the bottom of the hub? I just checked mine and they look the same. I reckon it's just foreshortening in the picture that makes it look odd. Without that bend, it wouldn't get around the wheel.

They'll raise a rear wheel if you lift the front up far enough using a jack in the usual place. ;)

Yes, very much so. When we lifted Olly's in that fashion the other week, the car came up fully sideways. Says something about that chassis stiffness, I think. Even when we lowered it back down onto an axle stand (under the 3-skinned part of the chassis rail) it still looked like it was peeing up a tree.
