That's what I thought seen a few on autotrader that have been done up and actually look timeless, like they'd only just come out, seen a few driving around here look the same too.
Think the problem is either the fuel sender or the pump, either way with investigation it don't sound too expensive (£50 max) just think the old guy is a bit of a tight wad

that's why it ain't been fixed. Car needs a wipe down is all thanks to being in a dusty garage, other than that they were so over enginered they are built to last (fully galvanized body IIRC) and the fourpot motor is the most mentalist one you can buy too, trust Porsche not to mess about. Interior looks new too, shame its 80's purple cord (but hey I like it) but it matches the paintwork (burgundy metalic)
Have to get my best man Kully to have a look one day (I've heard it's quite a gower so I want to get it fired up so I can have a drive for myself)
944's are perfectly balanced too IIRC as the gearbox/transaxle is at the rear so perfect weight distribution with the engine at the front, so they don't handle like typical rwd cars either (i.e. Tail happy)
