Does my head in seeing people walking and running by getting their excersize yet I'm knacked just walking to the garage doors.
Fitted my cleaned k&n filter and replacement rear air filter clamp donated by Andy, what a bugger to do, do not have big hands but blimey what a tight area, still clipped it in finally and hopefully with the modification will stay put next time its opened.
Mot , service and new power steering cooler fitted today, advisory on pitted front discs and some corrosion evident on nearside outer sill, the power steering cooler donated by mabo is now surplus as I obtained a new correct auto one so the second hand manual one in good condition is now available to anyone needing it, passed on free of charge.
Dakota, Pleased to hear she passed. Might I suggest you put the cooler in the free section here in classifieds but it is yours now so do as you see fit.
I'm a real fan of the front numberplate surround I think it looks better with it personally, unpopular opinion I know. The pressed plates look good!
- IMRC deleted and butterflies wired open.
- Thermal silicone TB gasket installed.
- ST200 airbox installed with my PiperX panel filter.
- ST200 UIM install attempted and abandoned, (see Wildcat's thread if you want to know why!).
- And then a good old-fashioned balls-to-the-wall blarret up the A5 followed by some town driving to retrain the ECU.

Over the weekend I've replaced my dodgy passenger door solenoid with a new one.
While I was in there I took the opportunity to do the 'one touch down' window mod.

Added Porsche Boxster puddle lamps and Scorpio footwell lamps to the interior light circuit.

And added 'ignition on' Red LED strips to the footwells and door pockets.
The pair above the footwells are powered from the headlamp switch and the pair in the door pockets are powered from the window switches.

I wasn’t happy with the 'in your feet' driver's side footwell lamp or the way the light bled out around the bonnet release handle so today I decided to modify the kick panel to put the lamp into a better place.
Also added MK1 Focus switch rocker tops.
An auto dimming rear-view mirror taking power from the sunroof motor feed.
And some colour matched 'Special Edition' badges.
