What Have You Done to Your Cougar Today?

Reseated the passenger door seal as had some water getting in at the very top, although I'm not sure there was a real problem, more just two nights torrential range and that the car was parked on an angle so my mate's diesel BMW (ugh) could get on the drive.

Unseized the drivers side handbrake cable this evening. The last few miles of my drive home were interesting, smelling brake pads and when I pulled up at a set of lights, I could see brake dust coming past me

Well not today, but yesterday, i took the poorly looking CF mirror cap from the drivers side and replaced it with a re-modelled and repainted Black pearl one. Cut to fit the LED strip indicator and the strip itself shaved down to run flush with the shell. I also wet sanded the clear acrylic just enough to leave it with a more diffused look as opposed to the bright clear look, a much smooter finish altogether. I suppose tomorrow/today, i'll repeat this post with a couple of edits to drivers/passengers etc :D

Wait till you watch it being taken away. That's the hardest bit!
The whole thing hasn't really phased me until tonight, not even pulling the donkey last weekend, but now, its definitely going. Ive had 3 years of ownership but feels a hell of a lot longer, time will tell if I get another.....most know that the ZT isn't a worthy replacement for me

Well at 7:40am I had the call that they were enroute, a short time later....

Time will tell if I get another, but the last 3 years of ownership has been awsome, especially as it lead me here. Ive made some brilliant friends through the forum and im not going anywhere anytime soon.

Farewell to my "1st" cougar!

You have my sympathy Dave; even though I'd sold it to Add, when he posted the photo of my 'old' one leaving in a similar way, it certainly tugged at the heartstrings. :(

It's a sad sight to be sure. Heck it was bad enough watching Mako roll away under her own power, let alone if she'd been uncermoniously hoisted onto a flatbed. But there's still some good ones out there Dave; come back any time mate!

Anyway, Tiger has a brand-new, freshly-minted MOT ticket today. Passed with flying colours and her emissions were lower than either of my 1.6 Rovers ever were, (which is kind of odd).

I definitely need to get on with the rear-end stripdown though. Subframe is really showing its age so while I'm under there I may as well do the whole lot; shocks, brakes, links, the works. Watch this space for an MFSM near you soon!
