What Have You Done to Your Cougar Today?

Been washing and polishing nearly a daily routine with the seagulls around here, well a clean until the next bombing run

She looks really good mate:)

It does work, but the foaming agents make it look better than it really is and it does wear off.

There's no replacement for doing it right. Go and spend £20 on the Meguiars headlight restoration kit. It's a bottle of PlastX and a lambswool polishing sock that you can put on a normal household drill. There's also a couple of 2500 and 3000 grit polishing pads included.

Tiger has now had this full treatment and I swear by it.

Thanks Chris.
Another one for the 'one day' list. :)

With some careful nurturing, light feet, and sticking to 60 for my drive home, I managed to wean 40mpg out of the cat, despite hitting a few pockets of stop start traffic. Chuffed to bit's to get that out of a big V6 - who say's they can't be efficient.

OK that's a bit more than I did lol.
Today I changed my battered boot badge for one in better nick

Took the rotton rusty rear sub frame off my ebony cougar today, ready for the replacement, click on the pic and have a look at the holes I poked through with my finger.....

It's amazing how some of these sub frames vary in condition, I have never seen one this bad though, I soaked the bolts with plus gas for a day and tbh they all came undone fairly easily so was pleased with that, as I thought they would snap as soon as I applied any pressure.

On mine it was that bad I just put my fingers through the subframe while it was still on the car I checked the history on mine to see if it had been owned by someone who lived by the sea but it hadn't I've always wondered if the mot was genuine least it came off ok for you mate.
