WashedWashed a weeks worth of salt from the bodywork, vacuumed the boot to remove spilt compost, and then topped up the fluid levels. Typical Sunday morning really.
Yep. Cougar is always going to be a cargo hauler. You get to be very familiar with your vacuum.
I took the stuff out of the boot that had started to go a bit mouldy. Looks like i'll be siliconing my rear light seals at some point. Mind you the lack of mileage these days probably doesnt help. Must buy some moisture traps.
Polished the body and started to clean the engine bay and noticed two extra cylinders who put them there lol
just had x4 new michelin 225/40/18 pilot sport 3 tyres fitted..car feels much better now after having a mix of tyres on each wheel..
and the bonus is they gave me a £70 fuel voucher for choosing michelin...cant wait to fill the tank for the first time..

I now have a blue v6 still have the zetec but lost heart in it after my dad died last month wil be transferring some parts over and selling some

Jacked the front end up to check on a tap i'm hearing when i engage reverse gear. I can't really see anything out of place except a suspected leaky shaft/gearbox seal. Must check the levels next.

Looks like you've made a good start in getting the V6 upto scratch.
I am still waiting to find a better all round tyre for the cougar, I have tried several different types and the michelin compound just surpasses all the others
