Yeah we do technically, they vary state to state on what they want to set the legal limit at. Some states are way more anal about the tint level. My legal door limit is 35% but the police don't really care. Also, we don't have MOTs and emissions checks and whatnot here so they only know if they pull you over or you go to re-register your car in another state

Our laws here in the UK are a little different. If you get pulled by the plod, they have a special electronic gizmo which checks how much light is going through your windows. On the front side windows you need to have a minimum of 78% emitted light, if you haven't then it's seen as a defect and you have to remove the tint. However, on the rears you can have what you want. I personally run with limo black tinted rear windows with no tint (other than factory) on the front. Although our vehicles go through an MOT here, I don't believe it's an MOT failure to have tinted front side windows.

The main stickler for police here is the windshield. They have the light readers too but again, it's usually the least of their concerns. Especially with a car that has been modified

Fitted a replacement boot lid as the original was rather damaged, new plugs fitted that came with the car when I got it and replaced the coil pack with one Si donated, runs much nicer now and doesn't sound like a Subaru under load anymore.
