Also worth checking the spotty trim. If it's been leaned on or forced at all, the wrong gap will create noise. It's a pig i know.

I have a mysterious knock when I go over bumps , sounds like rear drivers side...

Are you saying I need a drop link mate? How much , are they hard to fit , any links to purchase (though I'm skint so will have to wait) any danger leaving too long and how come I can hear it whilst in car but not when bouncing the car with boot open with my own force?
My first inclination would be droplinks yeah, sound horrific but not actually terrible. They can be had for less than £20 a pair (or less). Delphi are good. Quick and easy job too.
At this rate by the time I get home the whole left hand side of the car will be taped shut

That's them. They're really pretty easily done. Almost certainly the easiest job on a cat.

Found some for £4.80 on eBay , job seems easy enough , do I need axle stands , socket set(size?) and a number five Allen key?

I believe you can do the job with the car on the ground. You won't need an allen key, that's for the fronts.

Yes that's correct Jim, although it does help if you can park up on a couple of pavers etc for more space.

I've been driving around with black tape plastered all over the passenger mirror/door trying to find the source of horrible wind noise.

Have you tried the door seal rubber, if i open tilt my sunflap i get it from the drivers side door rubber, might be worth a look at that.

Yes al ,was going to subscribe already but due to being tight to the last pounds weekly and the car kicking up crap to buy for it(including petrol!!) I really want to get my car sweet then I'm 100% becoming subscriber mate. First week of April hopefully , then hopefully I can find all details regarding jobs and fixes , tools needed etc , descriptions(and who is providing bacon butties locally), in subscribers area , if not ,I'll be bugging you lot again ha ha.
