What Have You Done to Your Cougar Today?

shampoo, clay bar, machine compound, polish and wax, interior and exterior trim restore (meguiars ultimate protectant- awesome stuff!), hoovered, glass all scrubbed, maf fitted (thanks scunny!) and pollen filter changed...went into house for cup of coffee, back out to find what only could have been a terradactyl had s**t over roof, windscreen and bonnet! (n)

And thought it was just me  they did that too, you know they sit up there watching and as soon as your back is turned Sploooot, the French have the right idea, shoot anything that moves and then eat it

Fitted these

The fitment is no where near perfect though. How do you keep them in place while the tigerseal cures?

They need taking off and refitting.

Not bad for a rattle can job though.

:)

They look great mate, I just used masking tape the last time I put a spoiler on but I appreciate that might not be strong enough on a vertical surface.

Tigerseal is good, but i found it a bit thin and long curing times compared to silkaflex which is thicker, better immediate bonding qualities, and it's available in various colours. I used whate on my kit, but iirc, it's also available in silver/grey.

Have got very disheartened tbh, got one of the techs at work to have a look at the stubbon rear shock lower mount clamp bolts which i suspeceted of being rusted solid, after one refused to loosen last week...

Sadly it seems i was right, he says leave well along its solid and will more than likely snap if you try to undo it :cautious:

So thats it the front's lowered and the rear is/will be staying at standard ride height for.... well for the forseable future really

I might change my mind a week or so, but for now thats it no more kerr ching.. into the Cougar shaped money pit!!!

Yeah i remember you doing that Si, but i did want it to sit level, but on balance meybe it'll be ok, it does look quite good with he wedge lowering ;) and tbh, it was really the front that looked a bit stupid with a 6in gap under the arches....

** underneath the arches........ **

oh started to break into song then o_O
