What Have You Done to Your Cougar Today?

Carbon Parcel Shelf fitted. I modified it to take the OEM strings with clips. I think this looks alot better and I can not understand why when this was made it did not have the holes ready for them.

well when I bought my cougar 4 years ago there were a few bits of trim lying in the footwell, I found where they all went except one piece. It's been in the boot for 4 years and yesterday I found where it went ! It covers the locking mechanism where the back seats engage in the up position. Result!

Removed rear wiper only used it once in nearly a year does give the car a cleaner look. And started compounding and polishing the car one panel at time I was not happy with the state of the car at Blackpool and booked mot for next Thursday 8.30 in the morning

There is absolutely no chance - none whatsoever - that my missus gently humped that in Jim's courtyard on Friday night.

I'm not sure I agree. The problem is that blocked-off things basically say "poverty spec Fiesta Popular" to me. It's not a huge thing, but it would bother me.

And for that matter, I actually use mine - especially at this time of the year when there's condensation on the outside of the car.

I am getting a blanking disc made up so I can paint it same colour as the car this will have a lower profile than the grommet so hopefully not as noticeable

I like it so much, and being a retro 70's sort of bloke myself, i'm going to copy it.

You a 70's sort of bloke Al? Who'd of thought it? lol!!!

Well yesterday, I spent a few hours swearing whilst trying in ernst to change the exhaust rubbers to the poly one's I bought a while ago. Well, I managed to do.......errrrrrr........one!!!!!! LOL!!!!! I attempted the 2nd one, only to find I was replacing with the wrong size poly/rubber. Anyway, managed to get it half on, only to realise it was wrong and then couldn't get the bloody thing off again!!!! Arrrggghhhhh!!!! a bit more swearing and I then had to hack off the damn thing using a hacksaw. Having looked at the old one's I can see that I need to order via ebay some different poly rubbers that do fit. Anyway, will see what I can find on ebay. Anyone else used different poly hangers for the MIJ system?

Hoovered it. Instead, today was more about backseateducation's motor. I'll let him tell you all about it, but basically it was rear bumper replacement, ST220 airbox, and some interior stuff. I also de-tarred it with Pocket Rocket, (which is awesome stuff) compounded out a load of scratches (which weren't really that bad in the end) and restored his headlights.

Great bloke, (with a lovely missus) and he's one of those people that I've always got time for. Actually the vast majority of you - certainly everyone I've met - are, but you know what I mean.

Thanks also to Steve Morris for coming over to pitch in.
