What Have You Done to Your Cougar Today?

I spent a day fitting a window closure system, then pulled it out as it had packed up after only minutes, it was an old one lying about never fitted, so I didn't lose anything, just time.
I got the one that's quoted in the how to section, even though the wire colours seem to have changed and the wiring diagram is very basic, I managed to work it out.
Anyway I fitted the new one today and the auto rear view mirror, all seems to be working now.
Already changed the boot and grill to US format, tape to CD, Parrot, stereo remote stalk, spoiler and the mirror, running out of things to add.

Put my old faithful Sony CD player in to replace the Ripspeed horror show.

Full on interior and exterior valet - those foreign chaps do a cracking job :)
Once its gone a bit cooler I will be doing the final polish myself though ;)

Got sill welding organised. Will mean a trip to work in the middle of the night away from the bosses prying eyes :) but will only cost me a beer.

Very glad to hear it.

And once it's done, the raw metal will need treating. Get in touch - we can sort that, (the rest of your bacon is in the freezer).

After a month, found out why my radio wasn't working (y) it was because the coding strip wasn't inserted properly DOH i must have nudged it while changing gear or something(n) cant find a smiley for smacks forehead one for the admin team to add I thinks !

Little job planned for this week, been given some Dodo juice purple haze wax - so going to give the car another detail and 3 thin coats .
The bloke that gave me the wax reckons i will be amazed at the results ---we shall see

It will have to be very good to improve on the finish you normally have on your Cat, Mike.

Haven't done very much recently as all my attention has been getting the Prelude fixed up for winter, but gave her a good wash and wax last weekend, and changed the plugs from FoMoCo standards which seemed to be braking down under heat/load after only a years useage to Denso Platinum's

It's extraordinary stuff. Needs more work than Poorboy's "Natty's paste wax" and you have to work smaller sections, but is still nice to work with and I think that the protection is slightly better. Let me know how you get on with it, as I'm always interested in hearing reviews of this sort of thing.

Fighting talk that is :p

My tip for a Prelude over the winter is to keep a spare main relay in the glovebox, they love to fail at the worst possible time!
