What Have You Done to Your Cougar Today?

Gave her an oil change while the front bumper was off. Managed to fix the broken front bumper that those of you who attended Fest were witness to. Figured the problem out and took my electric planer to the bumper re-enforcer bar, especially along the top edge and removed all the little fibreglass and cataloy bumps along the inside of the bumper. Also removed the front number plate as the screws were holding the bumper out a little. Drilled through the holes when the bumper was refitted then refitted the number plate. The bracket you were on about Alan did not require moving up or down, but, it did require the fixing holes to be drilled in different positions. Now fits brilliantly.

Amongst other stuff, today i revamped my 4th brakelight. :)

As it stopped raining for once in Glasgow this evening, I made a start on getting her ready for Ford Fair, and Joanne had a play with her new camera. Still got the interior to do, I've bought some Gliptone leather feed which is apparently decent stuff. I'll be putting another few coats of wax on too over the next fortnight.

Pictures, or it didn't happen!

Only finished a little while ago and the car is filthy, but, you will see them at Ford Fair or at Steve's house on the Friday night for the BBQ.

...good to hear you got the wheels back Dick, but as Rich says, where's the piccies? :)

Yes, I had a bit of an argument with the guy when I went to pick them up last week and managed to get them for 200 quid, a discount of 64 quid. The hub centres all had broken tabs and he did not powdercoat them, but, I managed to get a new set of LEAGUE centre caps and spray them the same colour as the car. They look great even though they are powdercoated.
