What Have You Done to Your Cougar Today?

I asked the wife to raise her left foot sharply, nothing kinky, just her foot was just below the fuse box.
That's when all hell broke loose, the horn went off, so did the hazards, on a busy country lane with no turn off's and in traffic, with nowhere to hide luckily only a mile or so from home, so I could stop and reset the alarm, she still reckons its my fault.
Now the central locking and alarm system is working again, I fixed it.

Wait, what?

If you've fixed your problem with physical violence, you're either Marilyn Manson or you have a major earth/live feed problem to your fusebox that will almost certainly come back the minute stuff shifts about.

What on earth is going on here?

I did the same! Fixed flashing light and non-start by giving the fusebox a good clout.
I didn't get the light and sound experience though - must be over a year ago by now and it's not happened again.

Changed the pollen filter today. The one in the car was the stock item from new, to be fair it did not look to bad at all and there was no crap in the scuttle pan at all. So good news all round.

Yes mine had various plant life growing in it and some interesting wildlife...it had actually swollen and burst out the holder..

I know what you mean. Mine was apparently original and so ten years old at least. It was a dry fungus farm that gave me hay fever every time I got in the car.

I'm not going through that again.

Jetwash and hoover out in preparation for Blackpool. Will go over it by hand again tomorrow and do the wheels properly with the aid of my new bottle of Poundland wheel cleaner.(y)

Not exactly today but a couple of changes for Blackpool.

Having been fed-up for a while with the way my alloys were suffering from corrosion caused by the lacquer lifting I've had them re-furbed in anthracite with a bit of 'sparkle':

Seeing what Andy is doing, prompts me to say that I absolutely love to see the way that these cars are evolving to suit their owners.

It also makes me sad that we've lost Chris (Warthog) because his talent and underlying knowledge of the car's electricals was a gift that we're missing.
