What Have You Done to Your Cougar Today?

Any time, guys. Really great to see all four of you today, and although I love fixing stuff, it was brilliant to have an MFSM where it was all lightweight stuff and so more of a social gathering.

Both cars looked absolutely gorgeous by the end of the day, too.

If you're using imgur, upload the pics individually. Otherwise it tends to create an album for you and only provide a link for it, rather than individual picures. Case in point;

Also, click on your imgur username on the top right. From the drop-down you can select images or albums. The link you want (on the right) is the BBCode one. Hope this helps!

And on topic for the thread: I pumped up my offside front tyre, which seems to have a slightly leaky bead (thanks for spotting that, Tony).

Calm down missus.

hahahha im ok after my little rant above :p but seriously i need someone to do an idiot guide for me........ and no comments on that one please :D

Thanks Chris I will have a play tonight and see what happens

Yes Al, that's one of yours. Sorry to rob you of a sale, but Stacey's Ford badge was scabby and... at least part of Mako is still on the road, right?

Suspect that this won't be the last time you hear from her though. Could well be a Silver Frost brakelight mask in her future, based on what she said after seeing Tony's! (y)

I know  going to be fun come next MOT....... bit of a bitch to change by all accounts

It's quite straightforward to swap the complete dial face, including the needles, onto your original pcb.
There are 3 small torx screws around the dial face; undo them then pull the dial face away from the rest of the housing, there will be some resistance from the 4 prongs behind each dial but gently easing a bit at a time will get it off. Do the same to remove your original and then push the new one into it's place.

ahhh ok, will keep in mind, mine is at Chris's now so maybe an afternoon could see it right :) thanks for the info!

Although I do love the needles etc just the mileage a little off!

What we said at the time was that an increase in mileage would be ignored, whereas a decrease might need a brief conversation with the DVLA.

Honestly, we're talking about a car that has done its depreciation and 6k miles means nothing to the owner or anyone else. I wouldn't bother if it was me.

Stacey, get a thread up in "Member's Projects" please so we can talk about Colin without overloading this thread. Maybe your first post there could be a bit of history? (y)

No probs at all Chris, Stacey knows where the link for more decals is ;), and re the piccy uploads: I think she's got it! by George she's got it! :D
I could be wrong but, i think these are the first pics i've seen. Definately get a historical project thread started. (y)
