today I have wire brushed all rear subframe etc and sprayed loads of rust in peace on it.....
hopefully weather permitting will spray some black paint over it all tomorrow........then back on with sorting exhaust....ordered joining piece today so need that to get here quickly

Well done mate. She's solid at the back end, so getting on it now - before it needs it - was definitely the right thing to do.
Two front control arms came this week via the US Ebay, £97 inc delv and import tax, has the ball joints installed to which is nice, needs a few coats of stone chip then will fit next year along with shocks, springs and mounts.

New windscreen fitted today, fitter had a game removing the old original one. I now can see where i'm going and the heated screen actually works!
Filled the sill cavities with rustproofing wax. OK it might need some more work for next MOT, but it gives the old thing a fighting chance.

I removed the centre console, HVAC panel and headlight switch panel, oh and the dash top as i had a nagging rattle under there. The intention was to replace all my dash plastics with the CF effect dipped parts i've done recently, but having removed everything and fitting of the hvac panel, i decided i still like my panther black dash , so back it all went. At least i sussed the annoying creak/rattle on the dash, and i also fitted the insulation foam under the console. I wonder what new rattles i've created this time? I'll know when i go visit dad in the morning

No practice needed Matt. The dash parts have been out and back in more times than a fiddlers elbow on steroids. By the time we're done, you'll know how to do the same and remove door cards etc.
We're going to need some curing time.
