I've been wanting one of these grills for a while, and I love it. Thanks again Dick
Now, where can I get one of those cool Mercury tailgate badges?

Love the grill if anyone else got one for sale let me know please.
I could be wrong but I think Tim might have one (Wild V6)
Thanks Ricky, but Andy's kindly sorting one for me![]()
Tinted my rear lights yesterday.
They looked amazing today, till I laquered them and it reacted
Gotta do it again now, waiting for more tint spray to arrive.
I left it overnight, gave it 24 hours to cure.
Flatted it off with a bit of t-cut.
Then the laquer made it go weird and pulled like you say.
I can only assume there were bits of t-cut left, even though I buffed the hell out of it, even wiped with a damp cloth to be certain.
Next time I'll leave the tcut till after the laquer coating unless you suggest otherwise?
That avatar does look a bit weird.
It's from the tv show "check it out: with DR Steve Brule"
Might have to change it as its creeping me out too...
Glad you got it fitted Ricky. It looks like that left pipe needs moving out left a little to even things up. I know it's a bit "Golden Shot" but now it's fitted, you could also lift the tailpipes a little.![]()
Don't use anything on it Geoff, nothing at all between coats. You should be perfectly ok to spray on the laquer after the tint has dried to the touch but for the first couple of coats make it very light, like flashing the can across so you only get fine mist on there. Try to go for a shine with the first coat and the laquer WILL melt the tint.

How can I lift the exhaust? The mounts I brought have left it this low? New mounts maybe?
So that's where it all went t**s up...
Cheers for the guidance

His exhaust is welded, not clamped. He can go up and down, but outward adjustment isn't happening.
