What Have You Done to Your Cougar Today?

Today, i decided to sort out my holed aircon.
Removed and replaced the AC condensor and compressor. The condensor was holed and the unions at the condensor and the compressor were both seeping. Car is still up on jacks overnight awaiting a DIY regass.

Good to hear you got it all back together Alan, there were bits everywhere when I rocked up at the pidcave yesterday!

Good work Al, hope your regas has gone OK today?

As for me; cut the hell out of the front end with an angle grinder, fitted C2 headlights with a difference, split fog housings and put them back together again after drilling one of them out. Removed the fog masks as they were looking a bit beaten up and cleaned up the lenses a touch. Oh and put my boot back together - been driving around with bare metal and totally forgot. :D

Today i wrapped the door rails and winglets, they turned out very well but i didnt take any pics. To be honest it took me ages as i could not really get into it today and it was more of a chore than enjoyment. I used to love pottering on my cars but recently i just cant be arsed and seem to make all sorts of excuses not to do anything :(

Hope you get your Mojo back soon Mike, we all go through dry spells....can't imagine how you are after what you've been through recently

Chin up mate

ditt: get that mojo back Mike, as Steve says for whatever reasons we all go through dry spells.

Oh yes, almost forgot. Regass today included the leak sealere/lube, two cans of R134 top-ups. (y)

Then there was this. No old fireguard mesh kicking about so i had to make do with Wilkinsons finest mesh. Iirc this roll cost me about £3.00 ten years ago
Combat the gravels........

No vehicle ending MOE was on the car park according to the camera :)

Dude, you have a petrol station in wolverhampton... no one pays for fuel there?
Darn it, I wish I'd known that when I picked up MV51 from there with almost 0 miles range:devilish:

They have a camera system like that at Cambridge park-and-ride, you need to pay to get out so have to submit a registration to get a ticket.

It was haha... also... the sound of my exhaust in that carpark got people looking, very similar to a tunnel effect haha

Wet sanded two scratches on the nearside. The first was really quite deep but came out ok, the second was so shallow I couldn't feel it, even with a fine edge. Turns out it was somehow painted over and I have at least 2 layers of paint and clearcoat on the rear quarter.....so it's going to need a professional to sort it out.

Not a happy camper right now. :(

Fitted c2 clocks and bonus only 400 miles out from my current clocks and sprayed my front bumper.
