Hey if it wasn't for you she wouldn't even be on the road.
Our eldest son has asked to go his prom in the Cougar tomorrow night
(no tacky Limo thank God, he must have taste)
So I'm gonna give her a really good clean up tomorrow.

No up to much, too hot, fitted a working door lock actuator, now I can lock the car using the remote, without worrying anymore, What a pain that was.
Also replaced the cheap headlight bulbs for night breakers and fitted an auto rear view mirror, plus a coin mat.
Lights flicker, so alternator wire to do.
Need a visor clip, cannot find one, are they only a cougar part?

I was going to wash mine, but again too hot. I might take it down to the jetwash tomorrow if they've not brought in a hosepipe ban

If its not too hot I might pop the powerflow exhaust on too, im still in two minds whetever to leave the main cat on or not...will be okay for the moment but when the manifolds are changed I think it may be a bit loud...
Nothing today but yesterday i decided to get those rear arches sorted. Just a bit of touching up but it was right at the bumper join and the N/S arch leading lip. Too hot today.
I also gave the rear brake pipes a clean and a dab of caliper enamel for protection, well, i had the caliper paint out anyway to retouch the calipers

Other than maybe front Discs I cant see what she could fail on... Certainly when I had her up, other than rear subframe going she was clean... Good Luck Rik
Dropped her back at the MOT station to have the ARB bush, CV gaiter and MOT sorted. They're going to do the work on Monday hopefully so shouldn't be too long before she has another year's ticket. Bit of a pain to get back from the garage though - 30 minute walk followed by a train into the city centre then a bus back home. Why can't I choose garages in my doorstep? [emoji38]
Highly rated garage though and the guy who runs it is sound so well worth the extra pain for the peace of mind. Just gonna hop in the Lexus, pop the AC on deep freeze and go get the shopping now.
