Put the usual £3 in the jetwash to get the dust off. Once home dry and in the shade I took out my (whisper it
) Meguiars detailer and gave her a quick rub down. Then on with some more stickers and wheel centres provided by Al, to improve on the rubbish job I made of fitting some at Scotfest. Still managed to make a bit of a horse's ass of one of the wheel centres but it was hot, they're convex shaped and I have sausage fingers
I already had these custom ones on, but they didn't look great due to poor fitting. Much better now though
Managed to split one of my side repeaters - I nearly had to go back to fried eggs until I remembered I had some gorilla glue
And a catflap

That's by far the best application out of the four
They'll be ok until if/when I decide to have a refurb.

So just getting stuff out of my boot when it decided it was going to run me down
Apparently I have never moved so fast, Jumped in and stuck my foot on the brake

Count yourself very lucky.....one of our past members had a horrible accident when the handbrake let go. I'll spare you the gory details but his leg ended up in plaster. That particular car had it in for him
No Ricky she pulls up dead straight, accelerating in second at full throttle is a different matter though!

I never rely just on the handbrake alone, I leave it in first gear as well !!

I'll keep an eye on my car then. I thought I had left it in gear but must have had a crazy moment
Glad you are ok, especially after what happened to Ian a few years back. A bit of advice - ensure you park her in gear, that way if the handbrake fails she won't go anywhere. I always park all my cars in gear due to this very reason. Just seen that you thought you had....ok, extra precaution...a brick behind the tyre lol!!!!Yes all good. I'm still laughing now
