2010's mods already in the pipeline

If you didn't want to follow the lines down to the tail light units you could always taper them so they end on the line but before they get to the end let the red one flow all the way to the end at the light units then finish the black one just before the swage line starts heading down.

Yeah thats a good Idea mate, I wanted to start it thick by the front wheel and tapper it towards the rear in a thin line, so your idea would probably look better. (y)

Alan Pid's gonna sort the graphics out for me.
 
This is the car I got the idea from (I don't like the part in front of the front wheel or the lower trim at bottom of doors)

Going on JJ's quote I've come up with these two ideas instead, still following the basic designe but a slight edit on the length of the stripes.

Now this next image is the same but with a lower Accent (still using one of the cars lines) The idea being a small cougar logo could be placed in this accent line.

Very much a slight hint towards the old Scallops of old (or flames even)

Yeah I was thinking the same, I did the mock up of Mod 4 afterwards as an after-thought. As your the "man with the plan" Al I should discuss this with you, the idea is to keep to the swage lines (it don't look right otherwise) but tapper off the black line at the position just before the middle swage line starts to curve towarss the rear (i think i've got it about the right position) i'm not sure on wether keeping the red line going to the rear is better or stopping it were I have :confused: what do you think?
 
mod four is gash Matt 3 is good but deffo take the red line to the rear for me persoinally.

Yeah Lads I'll have a butchers see what it looks like with the red going all the way to the end. Personaly i think stopping it were it is looks ok though. (Remindes me of a car I saw were it looked like someone had thrown Red paint over a black car, reminisent of "flames" again)

A new idea now I've just gone and purchased two packs of pin-stripes from Halfords, 3mm Red & 6mm Black (9m rolls so hopefully there is enough for each side) just going to put them on car to acentuate the top swage line....:skep:

But anyway here is a mock up pick with the Visteon Scoop I'm "supposed" to be buying off my mate (Jollyroger1965) :ihih:

Matt, I personally think the last pic you posted up looks better. I don't think that you will be pleased with just the two pin stripes you bought from Halfrauds, as don't think they will do it justice if you know what I mean. Will be interested to see how it turns out though if you do put the stripes on.
 
I'm begining to agree with you mate:skep::rolleyes5:
I'm not 100% sure on the Idea, it might not look right :(
(However hard I try I cant get a proper pic edited to give me some idea of what it will look like due to the curvature of the cats body)

I can always take the stripes back to Halfords if I haven't used them. :idea:
 
Well thats one way to stop me spending £25.00 :LOL:

I think I'll just sort out my wheels its the cheapest option at the mo (and its the one that is doing my head in looking at them every day) just need touching up and a red rim doing on them.

Saw a horrible focus the other day in Yellow with yellow rims on black wheels but it was if someone had painted them on while smoking some illicit substances as they were all over the place :LOL:

My Dad saw the mock up of my car with the stripes on and wasn't too impressed he also said it would ruin the car, I'm not gonna go with them now anyway. You never know I might get something done one of these days ;)
