They're my overalls she pinched to sit on those seats for the tow home! Don't blame her!!! You guys are right - it's just filthy.
Or at least it was... while I was posting photos on forums Gill set to work on the interior. The driver's seat bolster is in good condition which is rare on these. We've hardly been precious with our blue one (same seats) and it's perfect after 171k but most are trashed. Presumably it's people who just fall into the seat and drag themselves over the leather? Who knows? This one's alright thankfully, although there is a fag-burn on the back seat and one on the headliner by the sunroof controls :mad2:. I have an idea to repair/reduce the appearance of those but that'll be later. Bigger fish to fry now!
I washed the outside to see what we really had. It's good but for a few greasy black marks - except that it's covered in rust-dust. Me thinks it's sat downwind of some grinding at some point. I'll clay bar the car first and see what lifts and what doesn't. It'll be a weekend on the abrasives I reckon though...
