Come to think of it, I work for a company that has a sister company next door who make, amongst other things, subsea hydraulic systems. It may be worth asking around for a contact in there to see if they can help. It's a bit of a nuisance this...

I never thought of that Paul... if I can't get any help from Aker Subsea (and I might very well not) then ATR Hydraulics or similar in town might help.
well there the ones with all the crimping tools so the can replace the unions and new rubbers if need be probebly even make a copy of the old pipe up to
unfortunatley not tim speccialist outlets only if i was still doing work at the enginering workshop i could have sorted something out as they do all the hoses etc for tractors and the likes but not there at the moment

In episode 5 of South Park Season 1 Dr Mephisto shows his genetics lab where he has managed to splice many wonderful things together in search of creating a pot bellied elephant (pot bellied pig and elephant crossbreed)... Perhaps he can do something about all that splicing u are looking for??

If its possible to find out the fitting type then you could always get an adaptor. Sounds simple, but that depends on MG rovers ability to use standard stuff...:skep:
You would need an adaptor then a piece of pipe (you can buy brake pipe from loads of places) and 2 new nuts and olives to tighten onto it at either end.

saw another horrid Rover 600 today that looked like it had ram raided the TAT section in Halfords think it was nightfire metalic but I couldn't see for all the badges and the TAT spoiler on the boot
