Cougar Spotting

T reg ebony at Tibshelf services tonight (had 5s in the reg, I think) I didn't get the full details or any pictures. I hope you didn't also get caught in the northbound M1 J30-31 accidents. 4 lanes of M1 down to 1.

I'd been in to fetch a charger lead for my phone so phone was dead, hence no pictures. Looked very tidy though.. May have seen me inside the services - I was the scruffy looking chap in the oily grey trench coat.

My car was having MOT work done, and another visitor to the workshop told me where this one is, I've confirmed it is where he said.
He's a tradesman., quoting for work at the address; the lady's deceased husband had it as his pride, it has had ECU mod and towbar. From mot online, it has expired, last mileage 94k.

Whilst off to do a bit shopping today in the Missus' Vectra, I spotted a Frosty turning off across our path in the next village. It's a little ironic really, that we've recently travelled nearly 30,000 miles and not seen a single Cougar! I spun around and followed, to find the driver unloading his shopping. His name is Don and he is 'well retired', the car is W523 URP, in very nice condition and is a 2.5 V6 and an automatic. He is apparently the second owner and has had the car about 10 years. He was pleased to meet a fellow enthusiast, but 'doesn't do the internet'. I promised to keep in touch and will take my melina around once the alternator is fixed ( now set for Monday ). He liked the idea of UKC and I offered to help him if he needs parts in the future. I didn't take a picture in case he thought I was a 'car rustler' or something...
