Whilst off to do a bit shopping today in the Missus' Vectra, I spotted a Frosty turning off across our path in the next village. It's a little ironic really, that we've recently travelled nearly 30,000 miles and not seen a single Cougar! I spun around and followed, to find the driver unloading his shopping. His name is Don and he is 'well retired', the car is W523 URP, in very nice condition and is a 2.5 V6 and an automatic. He is apparently the second owner and has had the car about 10 years. He was pleased to meet a fellow enthusiast, but 'doesn't do the internet'. I promised to keep in touch and will take my melina around once the alternator is fixed ( now set for Monday ). He liked the idea of UKC and I offered to help him if he needs parts in the future. I didn't take a picture in case he thought I was a 'car rustler' or something...
