Cougar Spotting

Amazon followed me into crown pub car park powick about 6pm, had a chat with the owner, did not know there was an owners club so gave details, had it from new, zetec 4 pot, non leather, took a quick pic but can not make out the reg, think its from Worc way.20180218_191648.jpg

V622 LAR parked up a few doors down from my grans house at Wollaton.

I can't believe I've come across this! This was my boyfriends first ever cougar! (The one that got us hooked) What a beautiful car she was! She wasn't a V6 but she still went like the clappers with him behind the wheel! We were blessed with her for about 3 years before we had to scrap her due to a failed heater matrix in winter but fear not she lived to see another day. She's now happily ragging herself round the track as a "banger racer" not that I'd call her a banger. Its awesome that I've been able to see a pic from before we even owned her. Great stuff (y)

wow you were searching through some old posts!

Well choke my chicken. I spotted one!!!

Standard frosty in Coventry today, on a road I've driven on probably hundreds of times and it's not been there before.
Couldn't have a closer look at the time but next time I'm there I'll see if it's back :)

well this one looks to be a permanent fixture, I finally got the number of it today after driving past it a few times in the last few weeks

Wow! first spot in a long time. Returning from the breakers this morning a kitted up frosty emerged from behind a parked car on the opposite side of the road, Langwith Rd, Langwith Junction Shirebrook. It was so sudden i just about managed a wave with my frozen right hand but didn't get a reg or variant as i had no way of seeing his/her boot badge, or not. :)
Oh, i also spotted four more in the breakers. :)

I just remembered i have a dashcam :)

Hard to make out but going by the gap in the middle, looks like it could be a Roush?

Also, either your dashcam automatically blanks out number plates or it may have had black and silver plates?

I've tried John and i can't get a focus on the plate. The digits are definately there though. My cam doesn't blank the numbers.
It wasn't a roush, more like a nolimits.

Unidentified frosty being broken at Motorhog, Wakefield Rd, Mirfield today. One headlamp missing possibly both. Only got a brief glimpse.

Hmm... Glass in the driver's footwell.

Wonder if this was a stolen/recovered that insurance had already paid out on and the owner didn't want to buy it back?

Shame to kill it (assuming the underside is solid) but it isn't worth the insurer's time to auction it so... off she goes, sadly.
