Cougar Spotting

Just remembered, last Saturday I spotted an ebony C1 (Reg ending in GSE) towing a caravan, on the main road between Skipton and Clitheroe.
First one I've seen on the road this year.

Melina C1 W232 RDL spotted by Mrs. W in Christchurch, Dorset, this morning. UKCougar sticker on the rear window, so possibly a member/former member?

Silver Frost C1 in Llandudno, T** AFJ. Looked clean, notices his centre caps had Cougar across them though, mine are just Ford badges moulded into it?

Ah so I have C2 centre caps then...

Have to keep an eye out for C1 items then, these need repainting anyway.

Pre-facelift (C1) alloys like yours, the centre caps are also part of the spoke pattern. Cougar ones were variously plain, printed with 'COUGAR' in black or with 'ford' emblem.
Post-facelift (C2) are round, ie. they don't overlap the alloy spokes at all.
Export (Ford) had ford logo stickered to a recess; home (US, Mercury) were molded with the cougar-head emblem.

Mercury had a choice of wheels (15", 16", steel, alloy), Ford only had 16" alloy.
