Cougar Spotting

Blurple V987GWE seen in Small Heath Birmingham last night about 4.45.
Then this morning frosty V146DLP parked up on Bordesley Green East, seen before, looks all original.
Seen a few cougs the last couple of weeks, after a long spell of nothing.

V336 AFE, Frosty C1 with double black stripe on drivers side, spotted this evening at Moorgreen, Nottm.

Spotted today in Ruddington. There is a website address near the back wheel arch, but the site no longer exists, Wolf Sports Cars. I'll get some more pictures of it if anyone's interested, only took the one as I was balancing a bag of chips in my other hand at lunch

Such a shame that car has just ended up a Q plate kit. That project had crazy potential and also offered a generation of upgrades for the V6 engines that were previously far too pricy.

I normally hate these things ("Hurf-durf I gots a Ferrari LOL") while at the same time appreciating the engineering.

In this case though, I really like it. It doesn't try to hide what it is other than the low, chrome-ringed snouts and - if you know the Cougar - you'll recognise it straight away.

The colour is obviously vile and caused me to have a violent, blood-filled prolapse when I saw it, but that's just personal taste.

From that one photo though, the only thing I detest is those windscreen wipers. If the roof-line and screen are standard, why did they do that?

TL;DR - Paint it 1958 Mercury Marble White and I'll buy it.

good catch there.
not often you see a coug dressed up...and done nice too..i too would normally slate this kinda thing but its had a great job done on it and looks great. although that wouldn't have been my choice of colour ether..at least its not done in oh so expected red.

Saw a black 2.0 X reg in Tescos car park in Seaton,Devon last night, couldn,t believe it!was just talking to the wife about them over a meal and there was one to show her what it looked like.

A company called DNA Automotive make these kits - www.dnaautomotive.com

Usually not a fan, but that kit does look quite nice, however, if you can't afford the real thing, do you really want to make a coug into something it's not? Each to their own I suppose.

It's not a DNA creation. It was an independent concept. One based on a lot of research and with some awesome design and engineering.

I had to pull over for this one.

I saw just a RED Cougar on the A130! It was a foreign plate C1 and totally took me by surprise. Dash cam was off though :(
