Cougar Spotting

Exciting spot, did you notice if it was LHD?

By the way are still after a Cougar? as I might be selling one of mine... pm if you prefer,
cheers,
Wil

Unfortunately I didn't, in the split second I had, I tried getting the reg - but the font was too light and the plate was a double height narrow one. I think red Cougars are more common in the Hispanic and Baltic countries.

Thanks for the offer mate, but the one I spotted was £100 and even then I don't think I could accommodate it with my current situation. :geek:

S367 XTW 2.5V6 frosty auto spotted in car park at Currys/PC World today at about 11.30am. Not a bad looker in the pic but close up side view was a bit raspy. Scraped wheel arches etc. First "spot" for a long time.

Spotted this one again today at Kings Mill Hospital in Sutton in Ashfield Notts at about 4.00pm-ish as I was leaving.

T702 KEW, Melina, spotted heading south on the M74 near Lockerbie on Saturday when I was heading down south. Looked in very good condition and was un-molested. Even had fried eggs.

Just checked the Registration list and discovered it is owned by an ex member called AVIARALLY from Glasgow.

I left a note with this club's URL on and hoped they'd join, but this Cougar I saw on Thursday in my hometown of Halstead was a surprise and a half. I'd never seen it before, and I thought I was on the pulse!

S9 BTC. Bits of trim, a spoiler and a plate, but looks pretty stock beyond that. Wouldn't mind knowing if they have an original spoiler at all :geek:

Frosty with a spoiler, parked down the side of "Batley Lighting Centre" in Batley, Leeds today. Didn't get a reg as I was walking along the main road.

Does anyone know who (if known to the forum) who the guy was with the green coug c1 at the mid Devon show the other week? If so, then one of my managers spotted them. The coug was parked next to a nice Capri.

I swear that this car or similar used to belong to a club member a few years back. I seem to remember those black side stripes....anyone??

Those "strips" are plastic mouldings supplied as an extra from Ford. Iirc they are in the options catalogue. I have a rear part of one of these but can't remember where it came from but a guy once asked me if i could replicate them in vinyl. The bumper guards were also a USA option iirc.

Brief glimpse in Wisbech near A47 junction at after 9am today;
S268YHK frosty V6.

My ex's Puma has similar bumper-guards on the rear and on the lower corners of the doors, they look awful IMO but I guess they serve a purpose.
There is evidence of side mouldings having been removed from the doors and rear quarter-panels.
