Cougarfest For Newbies

I haven't even a Cougar yet :(

My Ibiza's were half respectable, I think i'd be the female peacock if I drove ther emy Almera :)

You are a member... don`t need to have a cougar, there will be others there without one, Fest is all about people.

Can't stress this enough it is the people we don't much care if you come in a cougar or not my first two fests were in a c max and clapped out megane respectively.

Hi Guys, im just coming on the saturday ( hopefully with the mrs, if she's up to it ? ), what sort of time do you reckon we should get there, ie what sorta time will you all be up & about, 11am ?. Anybody been here & used the restaurant before ?, is it any good ?

Theres always someone up and about quite early, always a cuppa on the go... with someone, or a beer
This is our first time at Grendon so never used the restaurant, unless Mike has (cougar571) as he is a local.

It was our first Cougarfest last year, and as neither of us had been camping before 2008 (apart from Tim's camping hols with his parents, as a young kid, which almost scarred him for life) - we were wondering what to take with us.

Tim, being such an organised type, decided to do some digging on the Web and found http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk where there was a useful suggestion list. We took that, add a few things, trimmed a few things off and the result below is our personal check list. Obviously it won't suit everyone. But since he does tend to overdo things (fortunately there's plenty of space in the Cougar) - those who haven't been before can take a glance at it to see if there is anything that they really might need.

See our list - oh and if you think we've forgotten anything - other than the kitchen sink - let us know :D
