Family

Well I love my family to bits but today I had to say goodbye to the youngest member , my beloved blackcat ,for 5 1/2 years I have loved her and now she has gone. I am sure the new owner will look after her as he has a passion for cougars as much as anyone on here has , but i cant help feel sad and I must admit I got a little emotional when she drove away from me (daft old sod)
And the new owner is ( if you haven't already guessed ) - I will let him announce it when he is ready :)
 
If you want the honest truth, I would've cried too. I was absolutely heartbroken for you and so just... avoided the situation entirely. I am sorry for not being more supportive.

I know why you've done this Mike. In my case I would've fought tooth and nail to keep Tiger as well somehow - even if she's not a patch on your Cougar - but I also know that the practicalities in your case made that simply impossible.

I know you'll be happy with the Audi. It's a solid, modern car and one of the best of her flock.

So I'll just say that you must be comforted to know that your Coug has gone to the best home she could've done. Like that big pasture that old horses go to, except it's real.
 
I somehow dont think this is the last we've heared of mike and a cougar..

Enjoy the audi mate after all its not even a run of the mill one ether...its special as your family though its the right car for you.

There will always be a cougar here for u if u feel the need.
 
i had a look at the spec on that audi it goes like a rocket! enjoy! ...its just a matter of now. i think i saw that cougar you had once at Beaulieu, sunnie was with me making pics at the time. back a few years, .. my point is if it rocks your world then party on dudes! ..i know what my next car is..and when i got the dosh ill get it. , my coug will stay im not done with it yet :LOL: got more little things to do on it. and i kinda like 4 pot zetec's its old yeah i dont matter none my wife loves it she falls asleep in it ect ....your audi is cool dude.. enjoy it, no regrets. :love:
 
Well bit of an update on this , since i have been ill for nearly a month now i decided to cheer myself up the way the wife does - with a bit of retail therapy.
And today these turned up

Bit of an update on the Audi,I have been pottering for the last few weeks-I painted the front grill to match the rest of the car, added a bit of bling to the fogs,painted the calipers and put the new wheels on (couldnt wait)

Forgot to mention new plugs, air filter , pollen filter and a hydrogen engine clean to clear the carbon out.
It drives like a new car now
