Hip's V6 Frosty Project

I'll soak them with plus gas first, hopefully they won't be too bad. I helped a member do his rear shocks and the bolts came off no probs, and we reused them.

Well, true to form mate, one of the bolts rounded off, so if you could let me have the Finis number for the bolts it'd be much appreciated.

Would you like me to do one better?

They come in packs of 5, I've only used four. PM your address

Cat 3 & 5 will shortly be living again on my car! Few other bits need sorting and it's facelift time.

Lamp is just held together at the mo, I will be polishing the cover shortly to remove the blemishes.

Black wheels on a silver is not to my taste but at least yours won't be a carbon copy of mine.
Very good choice of wheels though.
There's so much space inside the Focus RS wheels you could fit an antique welsh dresser in there if you really wanted to!

Make sure you use genuine Ford wheel nuts/lockers - the type with the fitted spinning tapered washer.

I bought them black mate, I wouldn't of had them black by choice. They're either being carbon dipped or gunmetal when I get round to it.

I have a full set of Ford nuts in my tool box from my old Fiesta :)

Right. 3 hours of angle grinding, sawing, hammering, drilling etc I have managed to fit one new headlamp

The intention is to finish them off with Lamin-X to create Cougar-S style front lamps.

That looks excellent Si, I'm not that keen on the C2 headlights, because they're a bit too sparkly, but look alot better finished in black.

Coming along nicely Si

Started work on that front bumper AL, most of the marks came out with my DA. Just gotta sort that crack out.

Aye, they're a bit too 'bright' for my liking as well but I felt the bumps in the headlamps of the C1 disrupted the lines too much.

Once the front end is done, I'm gonna turn my attention to make some boobless tail lights!

Now that I want to see (y)

I do think the boobies on the rear are one of the defining features of the cat's rear end would be interesting to see one with a 'flat chest' so to speak

I'm surprised ginja didn't jump in here. Iirc, the concept cougars actually had flat rear light units. There are some photos on here somewhere.

Looking good, but I like the look and feel of the boobies! lol......Hmmmm...did I just really say that? lol!!!!!

I may be fitting a Cougar S lower rear spoiler so the rear end is going to be different anyway. It's not a priority for now as I've got loads of other bits I want done first!

Lights are on. Have some crap photos as the car needs washing and I can't be bothered. I'll get some better ones tomorrow.

Alloys will be on this time next week and I'll be DMBing the front end when I get round to it.

Having seen that Si, I want a set of C2 headlights now. Very nice indeed. (y)

Cheers dude! It's gotta be one of the most labour intensive mods I've done, ever! Learnt a lot about using a grinder though, which i've never used prior to this. All fun.
